Had trouble finding park as it is not located at the resort, but a 1/2 mile south. Better signage is needed. Customer service by the staff was outstanding. Roads are paved, but narrow with trees that need trimming for big rigs. The setting is a beautifully landscaped tree lined park with several small lakes. Our site was paved and long enough to not unhook towed vehicle. Site was clean with a table. Utilities were modern & well placed. Our site was in the rear of park across from the sewage lagoon which had a slight unpleasant odor. This is a destination park with lots of facitlities for campers of all ages. Pool was hotel quality with a lifeguard.

Visited park for the first time. Followed host of signs to office where the staff gave an appearance of being overworked and not attentive to the information I provided. We were escorted by many signs into our site which was located in the n/w corner of the pull throughs. When I exited my coach I asked the escort how I was going to exit the park (my site was too close to the corner to make a right turn without backing up. One couldn't make a left turn out of my site as there was a "visitor parking" area, identified by a sign, that was full.) The escort stated the cars would probably still be there in the morning as the cars belonged to residents and not visitors. As a compromise he stated he would get the owners to move their cars and cone off the four spaces in front of my site although I told him it would take 8 spaces to turn out. This gave me room to go forward & back up so I could exit. Of course I had to unhook the tow vehicle that I told the staff I had at check in. The 26' rig next to me could not make the right turn to exit either without going forward & back. The roads are narrow & had mud visible as it had rained. The roads are too narrow for big rigs to swing around and you will rub the untrimmed trees. The park had a very nice pool. The park had a children playground with a very large rule sign. I don't have a pet, but thought the sign "pick up after your pet or leave them home" was a rather rude approach. For smaller rigs we felt this park was a good value. We will not revisit this park.

Had a little trouble finding the park as their signage is amateurish and poorly placed. We called & staff had trouble with directions. Park is locate on frontage road next to I-69 so there is some traffic noise. Park has gravel roads which are very dusty. Staff was friendly. Pull thru sites were long enough for any size coach without unhooking toad. Sites wide enough for any number of slides. The utilities were modern and well placed, but the water faucet was dripping & mounted to an insecure post. There was trash in the site when we arrived. The Wi-Fi is only available in the office. Pool closed at 6pm on a very warm day. We felt the park was adequate for an overnight stop.

We revisited the park and found facilities to be very nice. The Staff was very efficient & friendly. The entry roads are paved. Going into the campground you travel on narrow, gravel & mud roads. There may be some tree trimming is needed for big rigs. The site was weeds & gravel that was long enough to not unhook tow vehicle and wide enough for any number of slides. There was some trash around site & in the fire ring. The table needed some repair. The wifi had a strong signal, but was unusable. We can only assume that was due to overuse as we have never experienced that problem.

This park is an older KOA type park. The neighborhood is industrial. The entrance is paved & landscaped nicely. The staff was efficient. The campground part of park went downhill quickly. The roads are paved and wide enough for big rigs. They call the sites gravel, but I found dusty dirt. Our site did have a concrete pad with a table. The trees were trimmed & did not interfere with satellite. Wi-Fi was good. Campground seemed cramped as sites were close together, and there was a mix of permanent, full time and overnighters. Since there are not a lot of parks in area we would reuse park for overnight only.

For anyone who has been to this park & cursed the road, it has been repaved! Park continues to be absolutely spotless with wonderful landscaping in a desert setting. Park is a ten if they add solar heat for the pool which was 74 degrees on a mid 90 degree day.

This was our first visit to the park since 2003. We were checked in by the owner who was very helpful & friendly. One has a choice of what services they want and are charged for each-we chose a 50 amp site with water. The park appears clean overall, but our site could have been policed prior to renting to us. The roads are blacktop and the sites are pea gravel which holds down dust. The sites are wide enough & long enough for any size unit with any number of slides. We found the electricity & water to be modern & well placed. Few trees which makes park satellite friendly although they offer cable. We will revisit park as we felt it gave us good value for the price.

This is as good a state park as one will ever find. We stayed in the Cedarpoint campground with water & 50 amp electricity. The roads are blacktop & in good repair. The sites are wide with concrete patio pads. This park can accommodate any size coach with any number of slides. The utilities are modern and well placed. The park was very clean with no trash. Sites vary from wide open (satellite friendly) to tree shaded. Trash dumpsters are very convenient. We will definitely return.

This is a great park. It is fence and a block off I-40 so noise is not an issue--not even the traditional train or airplane. We found the park very big rig friendly. This park will accommodate any size RV with any number of slides and tow. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. We had a couple of special requests and they met them without question. They then came by to ensure our comfort & that we were pleased. The park is absolutely spotless. The clean & free laundry is wonderful (free is worth $10 easy). All roads are blacktop. Sites are double wide concrete with a concrete patio area. Utilities are modern & well placed. Between the sites is a large area of stone. The Wi-Fi was great. The instructions stated one would have to re-log in every five hours which was no problem. We consider this the best value park that we use. We will return!

Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. A city location with a pine tree setting. Pool was gorgeous, but a little too cold. Interior roads and sites are gravel. Sites are long, but too narrow. The trees created issues for a big rig. We had to back up to clear slide from trees. One also needs to take precautions due to tree sap. Use of awnings was not possible. Wi-Fi was excellent. Each site had a table & fire ring. Park seemed overpriced for a narrow, gravel site.

We picked this park due to rain in the area, and this park advertised paved roads. Park has good curb appeal & is very clean. They are celebrating their 40th year. The park is very tight for a big rig. We requested a pull thru site of at least 60'. The check in staff was not knowledgable of the park. We were assigned a site that we could not get into due to a tree and would not have been able to exit due to campers across a very narrow street. The staff allowed us to take the next site. Like most campgrounds 40 years old the gravel site was very narrow & the footprint of the coach totally covered the gravel. Therefore hooking up utilities and walking around coach was on muddy, soggy wet grass. Our unit fit in the site from road to road with the coach & toad in the road a little. The main roads were paved but the interior campground roads were very narrow gravel roads. For this we paid $48. They had some sites that were nice concrete pads, but they were short and back ins-they were $58. The utilities were modern, but the post was very unstable. The wifi was weak, but usable. The exit has a security gate that I barely cleared the toad without getting into the busy highway before the gate came down. We felt this park was grossly overpriced and facilities needed to be upgraded to justify price. We will not return.

We revisited park and found it to be very clean & quiet. The entrance and office has been modernized and are nice. The actual campsites continue to be typical KOA. They are narrow & close together. There was new gravel at the site, but the exit road had deep ruts, mud & water although it didn't rain the day we were there. The ironic thing was they had three piles of gravel which they could have filled the mud holes with. The Wi-Fi signal continues to be weak, but usable. We paid five dollars more than last year, & we felt it was overpriced last year. We will find another park next year.

For kids this park is a ten. We visited park in a big rig which they were able to accommodate. Entry road is interesting as it isn't wide enough for two way traffic. We got one of the few long pull-thrus where we didn't have to unhook the toad. The office was over run, but the staff was friendly. Interior roads were very narrow. Sites varied from gravel with grass to just gravel. Many are in the shade of mature, but well trimmed trees. Park atmosphere is geared for the children, but they did have an adults only pool that was very nice. The utilities were somewhat oddly placed and the biggest sites only had 30 amp power. For the number of people the park is very clean.

Park was a pleasant surprise. Appears to be recent upgrades have occurred. The older part of park has many trees and shade with shorter sites and 30 amp power. The newer section is in the open and is big rig friendly. The interior roads & sites are gravel. There are 9 sites in this area. Roads are wide & make entry & exit easy. Sites are a little on the narrow side, but would accommodate any size coach with any number of slides. Since no trees our site was satellite friendly. Utilities are modern, but electric placement causes need for long electric cord. Park is one mile south of I-70 so road noise was not an issue. Pool appeared to be new & was gorgeous. Wi-Fi was outstanding. We will return to this park.

This is a good value state park that could get a higher rating with some modernizing. All roads are paved and in great shape. Most of the back in gravel sites are level and long enough to handle big rig vehicles. Each site has a table. Sites are wide enough for any number of slides. The trees in the park are very well trimmed. Most sites are satellite friendly. Only one loop has water, and it is community outlets. Modernizing would include putting water at the sites and adding some 50 amp power.

When I think of a typical KOA this park comes to mind. Staff was friendly & helpful. Park is built into natural setting without altering it. Park is very dusty. Park roads are narrow & turns tight for a big rig as we rubbed vegetation. Roads & sites are dirt. Sites are narrow, but some are long enough to accommodate big rig & tow vehicle. Our slide was a foot from neighbor's table. Utilities are modern & well placed. This campground needs to make some capital improvements. I would suggest graveling roads & sites and adding concrete patios. We observed nothing to make us believe they are adding a pool. We felt park was very overpriced as it is 12 miles from tourist area.

This is a much nicer than normal KOA. Staff was friendly & helpful. They allowed us to move from our assigned site to a more big rig friendly site. Park has many mature trees to provide shade, but can be big rig challenging. Roads & sites are paved. Sites are long enough for big rig & tow vehicle and wide enough for any number of slides. Our site and a few others are satellite friendly. Pool was very nice & clean, but needed more pool furniture. Park caters to families with children as they have a nice playground. They have a number of seasonal campers, but they are separated from the overnighters & weekenders.

This is an old, run down park. The office/store was dark, dingy & cluttered. Staff was unfriendly. Irritated employee took us to our assigned site. Entrance road was paved, but interior roads & sites are gravel. I tested the 50 amp plug prior to plugging in & found no voltage on one leg. I returned to the office and advised the maintenance man what I found. He accompanied me to my site & said you can plug in to the next site. I tested it & it too had one leg with no voltage. The 30 amp plug had only 85 volts. I advised him what I found & he told me my volt meter was bad. I asked him to get his meter & test it. He stated, Plug in or leave". I had been in the park ten minutes, used no facilities & was refused a refund. I will never return to this park & advise others to avoid it.

Park has very good gravel roads and sites. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The sites are slanted to allow easier entrance and exit from sites. This is helpful as the interior roads are a little narrow. Sites have grass in between, and are long enough not to have to unhook the tow vehicle. Sites are wide enough to accommodate any number of slides. Although it rained, there was no mud on the gravel roads. Park has a perfectly clean appearance & was very quiet.

Staff was helpful & friendly. Office included store which was very clean. All roads & sites are paved. Sites are separated by volcanic rock & new trees. Sites are long enough for any size rig & any number of slides. Our site accommodated a 40' motorhome without unhooking tow vehicle. We did not find trains or horns bothersome. Park is new, clean & quiet. Laundry facility is very clean. There is a veranda with BBQ's. It is very big rig friendly. We would rate this park a "10" if it had its own pool. The park shares the pool & spa with the hotel, which causes overcrowding.

Park is fairly new & very well designed. The outside sites are back ins and taken by full timers. The inside sites are all pull throughs which are about 60-70 ft in length. All roads are paved. Sites are concrete with grass in between. The utilities are modern & well placed. Sites are big enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Park was very quiet, as it is 1 1/2 miles off I-5, & clean. Park is very big rig friendly & great for an overnighter.

The park is divided into 2 sections. The office is located on one side of the street with what appeared to be seasonal campers and narrow roads. On the other side of the street is a big rig friendly park with mostly pull thrus that are long enough for any size coach without unhooking tow vehicle. Streets in this section are very wide and make movement easy. They alternate coach direction so utilities are on same side. Sites are gravel, but each site has concrete pad on both sides. Utilities are modern & well placed. Park was very clean, but appears as a big gravel parking lot for RVs. Park is just off I-20 and very convenient for overnight, but there is some road noise. We would utilize this park again if we are in the Tuscaloosa area.

Visited park & found it to be big rig friendly. Staff was very friendly & helpful. All roads & sites were gravel which were a little dusty. Sites were so narrow that we were within 5' of our neighbors on each side. Utilities were modern & well placed. Free wifi was usable and the cable was very good. Next to interstate, but noise was not a factor. Most of park is utilized by full timers. Park is good value considering location and we would return for an overnighter.

Revisited park & found to be big rig friendly. Main roads are concrete and others river rock. Sites are long enough for & wide enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Sites are river rock with a concrete patio pad. No table is provided. The river rock is not dusty at all. Utilities are modern & well placed. Park is mix of park models, seasonals and short termers. Patrons are mainly older retirees and no playground so I would not classify this park as a "family type campground". New wifi is strong & very useable. Staff is very friendly & helpful. I would rate this park a ten, but the pool is unuseably cold even though it was over 90 degrees today.

Visited park in a big rig and found it to be very big rig friendly. Roads are paved and very wide. Sites are concrete. Long enough for any size coach without disconnecting tow car. Very wide to accomodate any number of slides and still have patio space on the pad. A table at each site would be a nice addition. Since it is new there are no trees to dodge. The utilities are modern and mounted on a lit pedestal. The only thing I would have changed was the sewer connection was placed toward front of site and would have been better placed toward the rear. The staff is friendly, but seem a little disorganized. They try hard to please. We were able to pick our site. The recreation area is hotel quality. Pool was cold, but the two spas were warm & staff turned up the heat when we said we wanted to use. It was great after a long drive. We found the wifi worked, but was not real strong. This is the type of resort that big rig drivers are looking for & sets the standard for future rv resorts.

Visited park and found it to be very big rig friendly. Roads are gravel & wide. Sites are gravel with a curbed patio area. Sites are long enough for any size coach without unhooking tow vehicle. A coach with four slides is not a problem although the patio area would be on desert gravel. The park's registration building is still under construction and supposedly will include restrooms & showers in the near future. The staff was friendly & allowed us to pick out our site. A well defined path leads to the hotel where rvers can use a very nice pool & spa. There is a large restroom to change in & out of bathing suit. Pool & spa were heated even though it was late October. Wifi was weak, but found it useable. Due to large trucks moving about it could get dusty if wind blowing toward rv park.

Visited park in big rig with tow vehicle. Since all sites are back ins we unhooked car. All interior roads are blacktop, but very narrow. Some trees needed trimming. Sites are blacktop, but only big enough for coach. Sites varied from level to very unlevel. Grass was in need of mowing. Sites vary from in trees to wide open, but very wide. We found an open site to be satellite friendly. You had to go across the grass to get a big rig positioned in site. Each site had a bbq and table. Some had a fire ring. Sites are water & electric only with dump stations available. Better bring the long hose & electrical cord as utilities are positioned to the rear of the site. Blacktop on roads was in good shape, but some sites needed blacktop repair. Our evaluation was that the park is a great value, but needs a higher level of maintenance.

Visited park in big rig with tow vehicle. We called ahead & was quoted $45 for a pull through site. Paid $47 when we arrived. Interior roads are paved and have many trees and shrubs that need to be trimmed. Many of the interior turns are too tight for a big rig. Sites are advertised as gravel, but are 90% sand. We were assigned a site in trees so needed to use cable. We were very disappointed that a resort at this price level had incomplete cable lineup. Resort is large & we had to drive to pool & laundry as shuttle only ran on weekends after summer. Indoor pool was great as outside pools were closed. Laundry was clean. Overall we felt park was overpriced for the available amenities.

Visited park in big rig with tow vehicle. They had pull through sites that would accommodate our coach without unhooking. Park is an older KOA type park. Owner was friendly & helpful. Roads were gravel & narrow. Sites were gravel. Utilities were modern and well placed. They had sites in shade as well as in the open. We had an open site that was satellite friendly. For an overnight stop we felt the park was appropriately priced for the amenities.

Revisited park & found it to be a KOA under new management. The turn from w/b 60 was so tight I had to unhook tow vehicle to get coach around turn. Sites are combo grass with some gravel and narrow. Utilities are shared. Wifi was excellent. We saw no improvements in park since our 2003 visit. We felt park was overpriced and will look for alternatives in the area.

This park is very clean as streets are paved and sites are concrete. The office is hotel quality and the staff was friendly & helpful. The pool area was hotel quality & clean. There was a lot of poolside furniture for use. The sites were easy to enter & exit, wide enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Each site had a table, fire ring and grass area between coaches. Park is very big rig friendly & satellite friendly. The laundry was very clean & had commercial washers & dryers. Utilities were modern & well placed. The only down side was the train that runs near the park. It did not bother us, but possibly could if your site was on the train side. This was the first park on this trip that the WiFi worked as advertised! We will revisit park.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. The entrance to the park is very modern in appearance. The campground is very mature. Many large trees that are mainly well trimmed. Roads are gravel & narrow. We had a very long pull thru although narrow. To get level we had to unhook car & park at rear of site. Our site was gravel, but many others are grass. Utilities were modern & well placed. Pool was nice, but needed more furniture. Park is family oriented and organize many activities. We felt $34 a night was fair for the facility.

This is the second time that we have totally disagreed with previous ratings. On the other hand the park lends itself to smaller trailers & at best class C motorhomes. In a smaller rig I would raise my rating to about a seven. The road to the park from the north is 2.5 miles of narrow, paved road that is overgrown by trees and then 1 mile of dirt road overgrown by trees. The road from the south is 5 miles of dirt road. The interior roads are dusty, narrow, dirt & gravel with tight turns for a big rig. The only sites for big rigs are in an open area with one road & three pull in sites lined up on each side. Our site was long enough to keep the toad hooked up. The big rigs sites were satellite friendly while most of the park was not. The utilities were modern & well placed. The lake is a rather large pond that the kids were enjoying. There was a positive family atmosphere at the park. In a smaller rig have fun. I will not take my big rig to this park again.

Revisited park in 40' motorhome. Called ahead to see if they had pull thru sites long enough to keep toad hooked up. Was told they did. Staff friendly, but not very organized. We were taken to our site which was a pull thru that was too short to keep car hooked up. Site was dirt & gravel and roads to site were so narrow we had to disconnect car to make turn to site. Last year we had a back in site that was much roomier although they only have electric & water. Park is very clean & family friendly. Lots of activities if you wish to participate. If you don't want to camp with children then this is not your park. Pool was great. We felt $40 for a dusty, narrow full hookup site was over priced, but we will return & use a back in site.

Last year we rated this park a "9", this year a seven as we were disappointed. The staff was friendly, but the fee was up $10 from last year for an identical site. The main interior road had a very large amount of heaving in the surface that needed repair. The sites are tight to get into due to narrow roads and a new post that was placed next to the concrete pad. Once in the gravel site it was long enough to keep car hooked up & wide enough for any number of slides. Each site had a table & fire ring. The water had been moved so a long hose was not needed. Two pools-one for adults only & one for children & parents. Park seemed to be catering to seasonal & long term campers. We will look for an alternative next year.

Park was very clean. Entry roads are paved & interior roads are dirt & gravel. Our site was a long pull thru which allowed leaving the toad hooked up. Site was wide enough for any number of slides. Site was not satellite friendly as most are shaded with mature, well trimmed trees. We enjoyed the complete cable. Each site had a table & fire ring. Pool was very nice, but needed more pool side furniture. Park advertised WiFi throughout park, but it was too weak to connect. We rated this park a seven which is as high as possible. The WiFi needs to be improved so it serves all the park and we felt it was well overpriced for what it offers.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park is private park that allows Cummins employees, Good Sam members and owners of coaches with Cummins engines. This is a huge resort that is very family oriented. There is every outside activity imaginable. Campground starts on edge of small lake and goes back into a treed park like setting. Unfortunately for a big rig much tree trimming is needed. Staff was friendly & allowed us to pick a site on edge of trees that was satellite friendly. Main roads are paved with side roads gravel. Sites are gravel & wide enough for any size rig with any number of slides. The problem is backing into a site without running over the grass due to trees and narrow roads. The utilities are modern, but the water & electricity is located at back of site which necessitates long electrical cords & hoses.

Stayed in Bald Eagle campground in a 40' motorhome. The other campgrounds in park are older treed parks with poor quality roads, gravel sites & 30 amp power. Our campground had few mature trees as it was opened in 2004. Interior roads & sites are blacktop. Each site has concrete pad with table & fire ring/BBQ. Lots of room between sites. Very clean with dumpsters conveniently placed. Sites are long enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Most sites had an attached area for tow vehicle. Utilities are modern and placed toward rear of sites. Playground & plenty of room for children. Since park is close to cities several sites were taken by unoccupied rigs parked for the upcoming weekend. One of the biggest bargains we have found.

This is a great state park at a great price. There is about a 50-50 mix of back-ins & pull-thrus. Most pull-thrus are long enough to not require unhooking toad. Most of the roads are paved, and the sites are gravel and fairly level. Each site has a table & a fire ring. There is a very nice beach & children's playground. The park is big-rig friendly and will handle any size rig with any number of slides. Most sites are satellite friendly. The utilities are modern & placed well. The rating of the park went down for the amount of trash and unmowed sites-- the worst I've seen in several visits.

The campground was about five miles south of I-40. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to pick a site to our liking. They spread out campers which increased privacy. The roads are a mix of paved and gravel. Sites are long, wide, and gravel. Most sites are long enough to handle any size coach with any number of slides without unhooking toad. The utilities are modern and placed well. Each site has a concrete pad and table. Most sites are satellite friendly. On a grassy knoll over looking the river there are fire rings and BBQs. The pool and laundry room are modern and very clean.

This is as nice a park as one will find in a desert setting. Roads are wide, but dirt/sand which causes dust. Staff is helpful and let us pick any available site that suited us. Revisited park in 40' motorhome with toad. Met & processed by a very friendly and competent staff. They run resort like a hotel. When we checked out they had a close out receipt waiting. Entrance to park is a flip up security gate activated by a provided card. All interior roads are pavement and sites have a concrete pad. Park is about 50/50 pull thrus and back ins. Utilities are modern & well placed. Our site was large enough for any size coach with any number of slides without unhooking toad. Since our last visit the trees have grown a great deal. The larger trees seem to be in the sites closer to the office. Grass was mowed & well kept. The pool was open & was great. Pool is solar heated. Plenty of lounges, tables & chairs. We will visit park again.

Visited park in 40' motorhome with toad. Park is terraced with paved roads and dirt/sand sites. Staff was efficient, but unfriendly. Park has some long pull thru sites, but most are back ins. The concrete pad in our site was too small for our motorhome. Utilities were modern & well placed. Park was very clean, but some blowing dust. Sites have no tables. Pool & spa is available in hotel across street. Hotel also has several restaurants. A timely shuttle provides service to hotel.

Visited park in 40' motorhome with toad. If you are looking for a dirt parking lot with utilities in a desert setting you will love this place. The staff was friendly. Park has small store and a swimming pool which was closed. As you enter park you leave blacktop into dirt. Our assigned site was very rutted from previous users which made leveling difficult. Site was long enough and wide enough to accomodate us. Site had no table. Park is VERY dusty. Parking in roadways caused difficulty in maneuvering a big rig through park. We will avoid this park in future.

Visited park in 40' motorhome with toad. Park is still under construction. All roads are paved. Very nice clubhouse. Staff was friendly, but not knowledgable as he sent us to our site backwards. Sites are concrete, terraced, but some have steep entrances and/or exits which can cause dragging. Our site shared an exit with neighboring site which meant he had to move his car so I could exit. Nice well trimmed trees. Big rigs can maneuver and park if no cars parked on streets-we had to knock on trailer door to have them move car off street so we could get by. Landscaping new and recent rains caused red mud to wash across some sites. Would rate park higher if they had a pool or spa and when construction ends.

Most sites pull thru that are long enough to keep towed vehicle hooked up. All roads are paved and sites are gravel and wide. Staff was friendly and listed spa as an amenity. When we went to use the spa it was closed for repair. They provide free newspaper and delicious breakfast bar. Grounds are kept like a nice hotel. We felt that the park needs a pool to make it a true resort.

Larger rigs will have difficulty backing into many sites without leaving roadway. Electric service was 30 amp and water at site. Dump station available. Some sites have lake view, but most don't. Restrooms modern & clean. In winter the front gate was locked at 6pm, which necessitated a 20 minute walk in a cold and dark park.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park is located a 1/2 mile off I-40 on a steep winding road. The setting is gorgeous as it is a mountain setting. Park is immaculate-both landscaping and cleanliness. Trees are well trimmed, but roads are paved, tight, narrow and steep. Longer rigs than ours could have difficulty. Sites are terraced into a hillside. Ours and others had steep hill to leave which was worrisome for dragging rear. We looked out over the roof of the coach next to us. Sites are gravel, but not long enough to keep towed car hooked up. Utilities are modern & well placed. For a get away and relaxing time, this is the spot.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Roads and sites are a mix of dirt & gravel and dusty. Roads are very narrow and some trees needed trimming. Sites are narrow and very close together. From our front door to the neighboring sites utilities was only 3-4 feet. Utilities are modern and a table was provided. Sites are in a treed setting. A very complete cable service is provided. Park is clean and quiet as it is located well off I-40.

Revisited park in 40' motorhome. Park is for sale and is in need of some maintenance. Roads are paved, but deteriating to dirt. Sites are dirt and mostly level. Some tree trimming is needed. Our site had a concrete pad which needed repair and was not well placed. A nice table was provided. Utilities were modern & well placed. Sites are wide enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Located well off I-20 so it is quiet. Used as overnight stop over.

This park is under new ownership and is now open all year. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The park is very clean & modern. Pull thru sites are private, gravel and wide enough for any number of slides. Sites have concrete pad, but no table. This is a great park located in the SoCal desert.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park was recently redone. Interior roads and sites have been redone with new blacktop. Each site has a beautiful view of the lake. Each site has concrete pad, table and bbq. Park was clean, but the bbq in my site contained trash. Big rig and satellite friendly. Sites will accomodate any size coach with any number of slides. Restrooms were clean, but rather old fashioned. We will continue to visit this park.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park is very big rig friendly and offers full hookups or electric/water. Most sites are very long, wide and level. Each site has a table & fire ring. Utilities were modern and well placed. A large beach available on Lake Erie. All roads and sites are blacktop & in good condition. Since park is rather new there are no mature trees, which makes it satellite friendly. Bathrooms were modern. The grass had been cut throughout park except in full hookup area where it was a foot high. Check out is 11 am and check in is 3 pm so there is time to mow sites when not occupied. Trash is a problem in this park. Trash was visible in every site. I picked up a bag of trash from my site--most was in the fire ring. There are no dumpsters in the campground. Instead they are in the day use area. This obviously contributes to people leaving trash on site rather than taking the long trek to a dumpster. We walked to the dumpster and found it overflowing with trash and placed our bags next to it. We felt this situation was unacceptable. We felt this park is way overpriced--a full hookup site is $37 plus $8 day use fee for motorhome and another $8 for towed vehicle. For this type of money we expect a much nicer and better maintained park. We were very disappointed and will not revisit this park.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Overall park is very clean & quiet. The staff is young and inexperienced making check-in longer than necessary. Very few 50 amp sites, but most others are 30 amp. Most sites are level on either grass or gravel and very wide. Most will accomodate any size motorhome with any number of slides. Electricity is modern and conveniently placed. All interior roads are paved, but narrow. The park offers community water hookup, but a motorhome blocks the narrow road while filling. New dump stations are under construction and will be a great addition. The ranger was parked in front of the old dump station and would not move. Instead he sent me to one of the new dump stations that was locked. A nights stay at park gives one free day of parking at Niagara Falls-a $8 value. We have stayed at park a couple of times and will return. We feel the park is a good value.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park is a full service resort. There is manned security at entrance. Staff was friendly, but unfamiliar with individual sites. They have open & tree sites-open sites are satellite friendly. Most roads are paved, but narrow. It is difficult for big rigs to get into sites with out going onto grass. We watched a fifth wheel get into a tree trying to back into his site. Many cars are parked on the narrow roads. Once in the site it will accomodate any size rig with any number of slides. Some sites paved and some gravel. Utilities were modern & well placed. Park is very clean & well maintained. Trash dumpsters are by the entrance. Pool was hotel quality with life guard. They have adult only hours and children hours. Lots of preplanned activities-had a live band on Saturday night and pancake breakfast on Sunday. We enjoyed park and will return.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Large, full service resort. Staff was friendly & helpful. Park was clean & modern. 2 hotel style pools with plenty of clean pool furniture. All main roads were paved & in good condition. There are a few gravel roads that were also in good condition. Gravel sites were wide enough for any size motorhome with any number of slides. Most sites were satellite friendly, but complete cable was included. There is a mix of full time, seasonal and vacationers, but they are separated well. Utilities are modern and conveniently placed. Depending on size of rig one may need a longer hose as water at front of sites. Each site has table and fire ring. There is a large laundrymat by entrance and a couple of clean mini-laundries in park(they were expensive). Lots of activities and facilities to accomodate groups. Nice miniature golf, snack bar, and camping store. We will stay at this park again and consider it good value considering the facilities.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. This is an old KOA campground that has a lot of road appeal. The entrance is clean & well kept. The staff was grumpy and I may have rated the park a 7 if I had received one smile or positive greeting. It is convenient to I-80/I-81. The actual campground is very basic. Roads are narrow & gravel. Sites are gravel and most are pull thrus. Overnighters are mixed in with full timers and seasonals. Sites are wide enough for any length coach & any number of slides. Utilities were modern and well placed. I had difficulty getting satellite, but park offered complete cable. Pool was nice, but cool as it was unheated. Park connects to trailer park. We felt this was a $26 to $28 park and way overpriced at $36. We will not return to this park.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Lots of very deep pot holes on entrance road for about 75', then road is good and paved. Lots of full time & seasonal campers, but they are well separated from overnighters. There were ten long pull thrus. Sites are gravel and large enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Utilities were modern. The water connection was only 12" above the sewer hookup-I like some separation. Sites had grass and table, but grass needed mowing and trimming. Satellite was challenging due to shade trees. Pool was very nice, but there was a lack of pool furniture. What they did have was dirty and in disrepair. Good value for an overnight stay just off I-24. Best park we have found in this area with a pool.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park is old KOA located close to I-70. All roads were gravel so some dust. Sites were narrow, gravel with grass on each side. I had to park partially on grass to keep slideout from hitting tree. With some tree trimming park would accomodate any size rig with any number of slides. Each site had a table. Utilities were well placed, but no 50 amp available. Mature trees gave shade. Had clean and modern pool. They allowed people in area to use pool. A group of 1 adult and 7 children took over pool without regard to us who were already in the pool (only a park problem because they were not staying at park). We felt the $24 fee was as much as we would pay for this park, but would utilize facility again for overnight stopover.

Visited park in a 40' motorhome. This was our first visit to this park & we were very pleased. It is located about 8 miles north of I-40, but worth the drive. This is a full service resort that have grounds that include river access, horseback riding, miniature golf and a beautiful pool. Their main road is blacktop & interior roads were gravel. The sites vary from river front backins that are gravel to wide open pull thru sites with a concrete pad. The staff was friendly & helpful in assuring that we were assigned the type of site we wanted. They offered a 20% discount if visiting park Monday through Thursday and a $15 coupon if more than 1" of rain during our visit. There are four things that if management addressed would make this a "ten". The mowing & weedwacking needed to be addressed, a little more gravel on some of the roads would avoid mud when it rained, some tree trimming to 14 feet to make this a more big rig friendly park and set up trash pickup. A walk to their trash compactor is about a 1/3 of a mile one way. We will visit park again.

Older and typical KOA. The worst part of the park is their sites and roads. The roads and sites are dirt & gravel & very dusty. Roads & sites are narrow. When I left I had to drive through empty site as I couldn't make turn on narrow road. I walked in neighbor's patio area to access my utility hookups. Staff was friendly but could have helped narrow site issue by not putting everyone together as there were many empty sites. My water spigot was 12" above the sewer hookup. I find this unacceptable. They advertise heated pool, but it was very cool on 90 degree day. Most people also thought pool was too cool. Their chuckwagon dinner & breakfast were great.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. We were very disappointed in this park after reading previous reviews. Roads were dirt & gravel and very dusty. Staff appeared and stated they were overwhelmed. They were busy making repairs and doing maintenance on park. Park had a general look of being messy and run down. Since it was close to 90 degrees we stopped early to use the pool. It was closed as it was being filled with water. We used the spa, which was open. The miniature golf course appeared to be in disrepair. We were assigned a site in a gravel parking lot in the back of park with no trees. Sites were separated by a small picket fence and wide enough for any number of slides. Our site did not even have a table. Utilities were modern and well placed. We felt that this park is way overpriced, especially since the pool was not open. We will utilize one of the other parks in this area next time.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park was very nice. Grounds & Pools were kept like a nice hotel. All roads are blacktop. The sites offer a parking lot atmosphere as sites are a little narrow, but will accomodate any size unit with any number of slides. Sites have concrete pad to park and grass patio area. Staff was friendly. They offer a cafe and workout room. The shuttle to the strip was convenient and inexpensive. We will revisit park.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Paved roads, but some tree trimming needed to be done for big rigs. My impression was that the maintenance people do their job the easy way rather than with pride. There were ten full hookup sites that had a concrete pad, 50 amp power, table, bbq, and fire ring. Most of the sites were gravel with 30 amp power. Park is very children friendly. Sites needed to have small amount of trash picked up. Although it was almost 90 degrees the pool was not open until Memorial Day. Park is fine, but nothing special. We would utilize park again if in the area, but not go out of our way.

Visited park in 40' motorhome for overnight stay. Have used park many times over last five years. During that period have not seen any improvements. The usual overnight area has lots of gravel, but the site we were placed in needed more gravel as mud was present from recent rains. The site did not have a table. The pool was great after a long day of driving. We would ask to be placed in overnight area or go to another campground in the future.

Visited park in a 40' motorhome. Park is very big rig friendly and can handle any size coach with any numer of slides. All roads were blacktop. Park was maintained like a fine hotel. Pool & spa was great. They also offered a store, game room, restaurant & massage therapist. Sites had a long concrete parking pad with patio area grass that was nicely mowed. Each site had a table & fire pit. Utilities were modern & well placed. We went out of our way to get to park & were glad we did.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. This park is advertised as "a recreational vehicle condominium resort". Actually it is an rv park that has become a park model park. Only a few, about ten, rv sites still exist and are rented. The park is gorgeous and very well maintained. The staff was friendly & helpful. Park has security patrols and a guard house at gate. The streets are narrow & I could not get my coach into most sites. Most sites would accomodate a coach up to about 32 feet. I got into a corner spot that had extra room to back in. Site was great with mature palm trees, concrete pad, picnic table and swing. Park has boat ramp, boat dock and storage area. Two swimming pools of which one is heated. The other pool overlooks the private beach which one also has access. People in park were very friendly. If this park was more rv oriented I would have rated it a 10. I will stay at park in the future.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park was very clean & well kept. Staff was friendly & helpful. They even let us move to a site when we were unable to level. Beautiful views from most sites. Sites are configured in four cloverleafs. Most sites are blacktop pull thru sites. Some were level, some aren't. All water hookups are community hookups although the one in out site was within a foot of our table--we thought this was odd. The electrical at our site had been upgraded to 50 amps, but was on the wrong side of coach. Need very long cord. Doesn't seem like a lot of thought went into their utility placement. Parking was blacktop, but camping area was sand & gravel. They had a central trash area by exit which was quite far from many sites. There are two lakes in park, but both are quite a ways from camping area.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. This is as nice a public park as you will find. We wanted a satellite friendly site and the understanding staff made suggestions and then told us to enter & find a site to our liking. We got a site on the lake that allowed satellite reception. The park was extremely clean. Three cloverleaf configuration with each having clean restrooms and showers as well as a small, but clean laundry. Park has playgrounds for children and tennis courts and basketball courts. Sites are paved and have level gravel area with a table, bbq, light hook and fire ring. We loved this park!

Staff was friendly & helpful. New gravel had been placed on road & had not settled which made it dusty. The sites are gravel and very narrow. Although the park was not full I was placed next to another camper and my utility hookups were within a few feet of his table and I had to walk in his area to hookup. Each site has trees, but they are trimmed. Pool was closed although the weather was great. We had stayed here before and felt it was good for the price. This time we felt $33 was way overpriced for what is here. This is a $25 campground. We will go to another campground in the future.

We visited park in 40' motorhome. We arrived at 6pm & found the office closed. Signage stated pay envelopes & park maps were in box--none were in box. There was no staff available to assist getting to a site. The roads & sites were once blacktopped, but have had gravel added to fill potholes. The roads were dusty. The sites had pine trees that were not friendly to big rigs--I could not exit the site without rubbing the side of my coach and my neighbor could not extend his slide due to a tree. The utilities were modern & well placed. There was a beautiful pool & spa, but it was locked. There was a nice recreation room, but it was locked. The laundry room was locked. The restrooms were locked. We felt that a park that locked all facilities at 5:30 pm was overpriced at $31. We will find an alternative next time!

We visited park in 40' motorhome & were disappointed in this park. It is a gravel parking area behind the owner's home that is big rig friendly. The owner is helpful and the hookups are modern and well placed. The sites were only separated by the hookups, but there was room for any number of slides. There were no tables, bbqs, fire rings, etc. The campground was free of trash & debris. Night was quiet--didn't hear the train. There were four overnighters that were mixed in with the many fulltimers. We would use this park again only as an overnight spot.

This is a good campground close to a big city. Landscaping was very nice on the entry and around clubhouse. Campground landscaping needed work. The grass was dried out & the stickers were awful. The campground was dusty as sites and roads were gravel, but wide enough for any number of slides. Utilities were modern and well placed. Playground for children. Pool was a disappointment as it was closed---should reduce price when amenities are reduced. Visited park in 40' motorhome and it was big rig friendly.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Sites are mostly back-ins with a few pull-thrus. Roads are blacktop & sites are concrete. Sites are large enough to accomodate any size rv & any number of slides. A small area of well groomed grass was in between each site. I was not happy with the ill adjusted sprinklers that wet both sides of my coach. There are a few sites that have a pagota, table and bbq. We liked being able to walk to the casino & restaurants. They advertise a pool, but it is located indoors in the hotel which is a ways away. Park had some litter, but was very quiet.

Park is clean & well kept. Sites are gravel, but very narrow. Utilities, while modern, are oddly placed in the middle of sites, so your patio is next to your neighbor's utility hookups. No table at site. Clean restrooms & laundry. Staff was friendly and did a good job of separating overnighters from seasonals. Park was fine for a stopover. Visited park in 40' motorhome.

Very nice, clean, quiet park just south of Louisiana State University. Location is great. Sites are very large & will accomodate any number of slides. Sites are pull thrus, but not long enough to keep tow vehicle hooked up. Plenty of room to park tow vehicle at site. Visited park in 40' motorhome.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Most sites are large concrete pads long enough to accomodate any size motorhome and number of slides. Most sites are back-ins. Tow vehicle must be unhooked and plenty of room to park by site. Park is maintained very well. It is very quiet & clean. Pool is very nice but only heated by sun. We used the park shuttle to go & return from the French Quarter. Shuttle cost was $16 for two. All utilities were modern & well placed. Laundry was very clean.
